Isolated User Sessions: Demo multiple user accounts in one seamless presentation
Isolated User Sessions
Demo multiple user accounts in one seamless presentation
When you've conducted a product demo, have you ever had the need or desire to log out and showcase another user profile or project within your platform?
I sure have.
I can think of more than a few use cases where I might want to switch accounts, projects, etc.
Maybe you want to showcase how the platform changes with different user accounts (Enterprise vs daily user).
Or maybe your platform actually has two entirely different accounts with different functionality (lenders agents vs home buyer).
Or maybe your platform only has the proper functionality configured in a few key accounts and there's a need to switch in and out of those accounts.
Regardless of the use-case, this is generally a pain to move in and out of these instances. You'll likely have to log in and out of different accounts or maybe you're one to utilize multiple browsers (Safari vs Chrome) to showcase this. The bottom line: Whatever work-around solution you're using is inefficient and time consuming for you. And worse, it looks unprofessional and disjointed.
And fortunately... there's a MUCH better way.
One of Demoflow's main value props is the ability to integrate ANY live URL into your deck as a slide. We've expanded upon this functionality and allow users to create an "isolated user session".
Essentially think of User Sessions as completely separate groups of Chrome instances that can be isolated from each other. Meaning you can log in to one account on one URL and a completely separate account on another URL.

In the screenshot above...
Think of each box as a URL that I want to show in my demo. I want to show 5 distinct URLs within the platform but they are in different accounts.
With Demoflow, I can link my Enterprise, Mid Level and Day-to-day account URLs to each other. This ensures that I don't have to log out of any account to move onto another user profile. It can be prepped ahead of time and will be logged in and ready to show when you arrive at that URL.
Why this matters...
The most important question. Why should you care?
We all have witnessed the dreaded "feature-function" demo and maybe even been guilty of it ourselves.
I know I am.
“People don’t really buy your product, solution, or idea, they buy the stories that are attached to it.” - Michael Margolis, author of Believe Me
Conducting a really great product demo is an art. The art of crafting a story that is customized to your prospect, their company, industry, pain points, and overarching objectives. It can be quite difficult if you don't have the right tools and assets at your disposal.
Fortunately, telling a great story can be learned.
Isolated User sessions give you the ability to showcase the totality of your platform regardless of what personas are in the room. Maybe you're doing a final demo to a room of 8 people. C level executives, Directors and a few day to day users. You could cover all of those user profiles in one seamless presentation and maintain a level of professionalism and polish throughout your demo.
This is just one way we're working to make it easier to tell really great story on your demo and showcase the totality of your product in a way that resonates.
